St. Boniface/St. Vital Rotary Golf Tournament

GOLF TOURNAMENT: TUESDAY, AUGUST 14, 2012

The St. Boniface-St. Vital Rotary Club is a long-time friend of St.Amant.

They have worked collectively to raise money for various projects that have greatly enhanced the lives of those we support. This year the Rotary is embarking on a mission to raise funds for a significant sensory upgrade to St.Amant’s indoor pool located at 440 River Road. This spring, we are eagerly anticipating the opening of western Canada's first sensory swimming pool. This pool has undergone a multiphased renovation to outfit with various types of sensory equipment for many of the senses (sight, touch, sound). The new equipment will give the clients an environment tailored to their preferences, such as a project that will project onto the ceiling and walls, pool lights that can change color, an underwater sound system that will create vibrations, tactile additions to the walls and pool deck that clients can explore, and interactive mobiles to hang from the ceiling.
